We like a challenge here at Metclad, so this year to tie in with Men's Health Week in June some of our office and site teams will be completing the National Three Peaks Challenge.
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.
The three mountains are:
Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
We are aiming to raise awareness and open up conversations about men's physical and mental health, something which is especially relevant within the construction industry.
Prostate Cancer UK is our chosen charity this year, so all fundraising will be donated at the end of 2025 to support this fantastic charity.
Our team now has only 6 weeks to prepare for this incredibly tough challenge, and make sure their boots fit!
If you would like to donate and support our team, please visit our Just Giving page, or scan the below QR code.
